Beacon's Closet it's my favorite vintage store in NYC, The first day that I've visited the store still in my mind. I feel super happy collaborating with them, literally #Goals Thank you guys.

Beacon's Closet es mi tienda Vintage favorita en Nueva York, el primer día que visité la tienda todavía está en mi mente. Me siento muy feliz colaborando con ellos, literalmente #Goals Gracias chicos.

- How did you first get interested in clothes?

when i was a little boy my grandmother taught me how to cut and sew fabrics. back then i also began to play around with my own clothes, creating outfits and custom made garments by bleaching and painting them with my mom.

¿Cómo te interesaste por la ropa?

Cuando yo era un niño mi abuela me enseñó a cortar y coser telas. A partir de entonces también comencé a jugar con mi propia ropa, creando prendas y pintándolas de colores con mi madre.

- What in current fashion is exciting you?

i like the fact that fashion is becoming genderless. more and more you see people wearing the kinds of clothes they like, as opposed to the kinds of clothes they should.

Lo que en la moda actual es emocionante que?

Me gusta el hecho de que la moda está perdiendo el género. Más y más se ve a las personas usando la ropa que a cada uno les gusta vestir, y no el tipo de ropa que "deben" vestir.

- How would you describe your style right now? 

my style is very eclectic. i like to wear leather jackets, cross body bags and colors, while showcasing my mexican heritage. i’m not afraid to experiment with fashion, i constantly try different things. for me it’s all about how you wear the clothes and how they make you feel.

¿Cómo describirías tu estilo?

Mi estilo es muy ecléctico. Me gusta usar chaquetas de cuero, bolsos y me encantan los colores, me gusta demostrar mi herencia Mexicana. No tengo miedo de experimentar con la moda, constantemente intento cosas diferentes. Para mí es todo acerca de cómo llevar la ropa y de cómo te hacen sentir.

- Any advice for the up-and-coming bloggers out there?

fashion blogging is really fun but it takes a lot of work and patience. sometimes people around you don’t get what you're trying to do. make sure that you are passionate about it, have a personal point of view and keep doing what feels right no matter what.

Cualquier consejo para los bloggers up-and-coming por ahí?

Blogging sobre moda es muy divertido, pero se necesita mucho trabajo y paciencia. A veces la gente alrededor de uno no entiende lo que uno está intentando hacer. Así que asegúrate de que te apasione, y claro, tienes que tener un punto de vista muy personal y seguir haciendo lo que sientes que esta bien no importando lo que digan lo demás.

- What’s your strategy when shopping at beacon’s?

I love shopping at beacon’s. the selection of clothes is amazing. the quality is great and the prices are worth it. i walk straight to the handbags section when i first enter the store. i’m obsessed with bags so that’s why it’s my first stop. next i check the tee racks-a good vintage t-shirt is key. and the 3rd stop will be the whole store! hahaha, trust me it’s worth it to check rack by rack.

¿Cuál es tu estrategia al comprar en Beacon's?

Me encanta ir de compras a Beacon's. La selección de ropa es increíble, La calidad es genial y los precios valen la pena, cuando entro a la tienda primero camino directamente a la sección de los bolsos, estoy obsesionado con las bolsas, así que por eso es mi primera parada. Después busco en el rack de las playeras una buena camiseta vintage es clave, y la tercera parada seria toda la tienda! Jajaja, confía en mí vale la pena checar rack por rack.
