Spring trends 2018 [ Top 5 ]

Temporadas vienen y van, y con ellas nuevas tendencias con las que podemos jugar y experimentar este año, en este post les comparto mi top 5 de tendencias para la primavera 2018, llena de color y de cierta melancolía pop.

Seasons comes and go, and with them new trends to play this year, in this post I share my top 5 trends for spring 2018, full of color and an a little of melancholy.

PASTELS: Obviamente lo primero que me viene a la mente escuchando primavera es colores pastel, esta tendencia tiene un par de años vigente estoy seguro que tienen alguna prenda en estos tonos en tu closet en este momento.

Tip: Opta por utilizar los tonos en piezas "bold" como chaquetas de cuero o en accesorios para romper con el romanticismo de los tonos.

Pastel tones are kind of obvious for spring, this trend has being around for couple of years, so I'm sure you have already some garments in your closet already.

Tip: Choose to use this tones in bold pieces such as leather jackets or bold accessories to break with the romanticism of the tones.

PLASTIC: Cuando era niño recuerdo que estaba super de moda mochilas transparentes y algunas las podías hasta inflar, una especie de fusión entre mochila y "flotis" para la alberca.

Esta primavera el plastico viene con todo, desde trench coats de vinyl hasta en bolsos.

When I was a kid, I remember that it was super trendy, see thru backpacks and some you could even inflate, a kind of fusion between backpack and flotis for the pool.

This spring the plastic comes from trench coats to vinyl bags.

STRIPES: Las lineas verticales son un must en el closet, para mi tienen una ondita vintage que me encanta, sobre todo si se trata de camisas, esta tendencia la encontraremos en todo tipo de prendas y en accesorios.

Tip: elige el grosor adecuado de las lineas para estilizar tu figura, con este juego visual podrás lucir super alargado.

The vertical lines are a must in the closet, for me they have a vintage vibe that I love, especially in shirts, this trend will be found in all kinds of garments and accessories.

Tip: Choose the right thickness for the lines to stylize your figure, with this visual game you will look super elongated.

NEON: El neon después de casi 5 años regresa esta primavera para llenar de color las calles, se que puede ser una tendencia muy atrevida para algunos, así que si quieres experimentar con el neon pero te da un poquito de miedito utilízalo en accesorios pequeños.

The neon trend after almost 5 years returns this spring to fill the streets with color, I know it can be a very daring trend for some people, so if you want to experiment with neon but it gives you a little bit of fear haha, use it in small accessories.

The 80s: Realmente la tendencia de los 80 me emociona mucho, una década llena de música, volumen y "extravaganza".

En los ochenta todo fue maximizado, y así viene este 2018 un ejemplo claro son las mangas extra voluminosas que ya vemos en nuestras tiendas favoritas.

The 80s trend really excites me, a decade full of music, volume and "extravaganza".

In the eighties everything was maximized, and so this 2018  a clear example are the extra bulky sleeves that we already see in our favorite stores.
