Less than 12hrs in Philadelphia + Bucket List

Comencé el año haciendo un road trip a Philadelphia por que mi cuñada visitaría a un artista del tapiz, después de un par de horas en carretera, cantar todos a coro tal karaoke y comer algún snack viajero, llegamos a Philly, fue la primera vez que visitaba tal ciudad, me gusto muchísimo, me encanto la arquitectura que tienen la mayoría de las casas, con una conminación de colores muy melancólica pero alegre, lastima que solo iríamos un día ya que fue cero planeado, pero aun así queríamos visitar algunos lugares en tan pocas horas.

Además de conocer y aprender sobre “tapestry” comimos deli en un lugar para brunch llamado Sobrina’s Cafe, super cálido, sin necesidad de pretensiones, soltando el plato nos dirigimos al museo de arte a seguir llenando nuestros ojos.

Cada vez que asisto a una inauguración de alguna galería o visito un museo me pregunto, ¿por qué no lo hago más seguido? Sí tanto me gusta… quizás es la “falta de tiempo”.

I started the year doing a road trip to Philadelphia, my sister-in-law was visiting a tapestry artist there, after a couple of hours on the road, singing like karaoke style in the car, we arrived to Philadelphia, it was the first time I visited this city, I like it very much, I love the architecture that most of the houses have, with a very melancholic but cheerful color palette, it hurts that we would only go one day since it was zero planne.

In addition to knowing and learning about "tapestry" we ate brunch at the cutest place called Sobrina’s Cafe, super warm, without the need for pretension, releasing the dish we went to the art museum to continue filling our eyes.

Every time I attend an opening of a gallery or visit a museum I ask myself, why don't I do it more often? I mean, I like it so much!…

Realmente espero visitar Filadelfia muy pronto y con unos días suficientes para conocer más lugares, restaurantes e historia.

-Elfreth’s Alley (Oldest residential street in America, very cute)

-First Post Office in the United States

-Philadelphia City Hall
