TREND REPORT: SPRING 2020

Una de las temporadas que más me emociona es la primavera, creo que tiene mucho que ver con el final del invierno, dando paso a días más soleados, coloridos, y de cierta manera más tranquilos y felices.

Estas son las 5 tendencias que más me emocionan para este nuevo ciclo.

One of the seasons that excites me the most is Spring, I think it has a lot to do with the ending of winter, giving us sunny days, colorful, and somehow quieter and happier days.

These are the 5 trends that excite me most for this new time.

Estamos pasando por un momento muy crítico con nuestro planeta, y como cada tema social tarde ó temprano llega a las pasarelas dando como resultado prendas con temas como animales, flores, plantas y con una inspiración safari muy marcada que en lo personal espero ayude a concientizar más.

DENIM:

¿Te imaginas que el icónico Britney & Justin "denim look" regrese este año? Para nuestro alivio los looks de todo mezclilla vuelven pero de una manera muy cool y moderna, algo que me gusta hacer cuando me visto todo de denim es jugar con diferentes tonos de azul.

Can you imagine the iconic Britney & Justin denim looks are coming back this year? For our relief the looks of all denim returns in a very cool and modern way, something I like to do when I wear all denim is to play with different shades of blue.

¿Se acuerdan de las chambritas que había en casa de las abuelitas? o ¿de las macetas colgadas hechas con hilos y nudos? bueno, pues esa técnica de tejido hace un “come back” en prendas de una manera muy cool. Apuesta por prendas tejidas de un solo color y la manera clave es crear un look monocromático.

Do you remember the little crochet little carpets in the grandmothers house? Or the hanging pots made by threads and knots? Well, that weaving technique makes a come back on garments in a very cool way, use garments of a single color and the key way is to create a monochrome look.

Ok, esta me emociona, sobre todo por que es una tendencia que vi muy marcada en las colecciones masculinas y es algo que no se ve comúnmente.

Sí te da un poco de pudor ir con una camisa transparente por las calles, apuesta por las capas, usa una “musculosa” o “Tank top” debajo, creo que es una manera muy cool de usar este tipo de prendas.

Ok, this excites me, especially because it is a trend that I saw very marked in the men's collections and is something that is not commonly seen in the male runways.

If it gives you a little modesty to go with a transparent shirt in the streets, bet on the layers, wear a “muscular” or “Tank top” underneath, I think it is a very cool way to wear this type of garments.

Nada más cool que darle la bienvenida a la primavera con colores vibrantes, ya sean en “color blocking” o en ”full looks. 

Un tip que les puedo dar es usar prendas en colores sólidos y al momento de crear el look usar un total de tres colores así creando armonía en el look final.

Nothing cooler than welcoming spring with vibrant colors, whether in "color blocking" or "full looks."

A tip that I can give you is to wear garments in solid colors and when creating the look use a total of three colors thus creating harmony in the final look.
